The Save Is Used On “American Idol”

In a surprising twist, Jessica Sanchez, and instant fan favorite, and successful singer of Whitney Houston songs was almost voted off of American Idol last night. The judges used their “Save” just for her.

Somehow, powerhouse singer Sanchez garnered the fewest votes, and needed that helping hand from J Lo, Randy and Tyler.

Sanchez became an instant favorite when she successfully covered Whitney Houston’s song “I Will Always Love You”. While she has shown her strengths in ballads, she has struggled to sing songs that don’t require so much air. She rated poorly when she sang Gloria Estevan’s “The Rhythm is Going To Get You”. News From Coachella

Television coverage for the Coachella concert offered fans a look at the wide variety of musical talents and abilities that today’s culture offers. However, to the pleasant surprise of fans, one of the guest appearances to the Coachella concert offered a blast from the past.
